DESCRIPTION:Lancashire Federation of Women’s Institues Arts and Crafts Sub-Committee – Members Only \nDates \nFriday 14th June OR Saturday 15th June 2013 \nCourse \nThis is a follow up to last year’s Calligraphy course\, but is also open to other interested members. We will practice some lettering styles and then develop some text onto highly decorated illuminated pieces influenced by the masters of medieval manuscripts\, as well as works by more contemporary designers. Under the expert tuition of Nicky Robertson\, you will produce your own masterpieces. Light refreshments will be available\, please bring a packed lunch. Please bring a selection of the writing / drawing materials such as felt tip pens\, pencils\, watercolour paints\, calligraphy pens (if you have them) and fine paint brushes. The tutor will provide the necassery paper etc. Please contact Salford Angels for an application form. \n
