DESCRIPTION:LFWI Tours and Excursions Sub-Committee \nArriving at the Albert Dock at 10.30am\, we will be joined on the coach by a Blue Bade Guide who will escort us on a one hour guided tour of the dock area\, and then along the waterfront to the Liverpool Museum\, Town Hall\, Beatles quarter\, Liverpool ONE\, the university district\, Liverpool’s two cathedrals\, Chinatown and then back to the Albert Dock via Liverpool Marina. \nThen we have free time to enjoy the city – perhaps shopping\, a trip to one of the many museums / art galleries at the Albert Dock or just take a long leisurely lunch and watch the world go by. There is a variety of restaurants / eateries at both the Albert Dock and Liverpool ONE – from Jamie Oliver’s restaurant to the John Lewis cafe\, pubs and fish and chip shops. \nWe will meet back at the coach at 3.00pm\, where we will be taken to the breathtaking St Georges Hall for a trip around the beautiful main hall and a visit to the cells.
