Here at the Salford Angels WI, we love to try new things and every meeting presents the opportunity to learn a new skill or subject. The things that women can learn in the WI could certainly help them achieve goals and future plans that they may have. But while the future is exciting, the past can be just as fascinating.

Women from all walks of life are welcome to join us at the next Salford Angels WI meeting on 18th July at the Angel Centre where we will be learning all about how to research your family tree. What wonders are hidden in your past and are just waiting to be discovered? Come along and find out where to start in the search for your family history. During the talk, you can find out where the best places to search for information are and what sort of information you should look for, as well as the basics of how a family tree works and how the connections pull it all together. As with all of our meetings there will also be time to get to know the other members and enjoyed a well-earned helping of tea and cake.

We are sure that you will leave the meeting thirsty to learn more about your family and see where your roots will take you. You never know, you might just have a famous relative.
