Clairvoyance and Chocolate!
“Is there anybody there?” On the Angel’s first Clairvoyance evening there were certainly plenty of us waiting to hear what our medium Paul Hunt had to tell us. Paul has appeared on Most Haunted and has a relaxed and humorous manner which quickly set the tone for the evening. He explained how the evening would work and helped those who had never been to anything like this before understand what to expect. Paul connected to people individually throughout the evening. He also very generously offered EIGHT private readings to the lucky winners of the raffle along with a signed book from Richard Felix. It was a great night of entertainment and was a fantastic fund raiser for the Angel’s Bike Ride to Denman College in Oxford in May. It was so successful we’re planning another one so watch this space!
This Thursday was about all things chocolate. What more could a woman want than a bowl full of warm chocolate and a spoon to lick! Oli’s Chocolate Party’s delivered a very yummy chocolate workshop where we learnt about how different chocolate is made and then had a go at making our own truffles to take home. Although some of the truffles looked a little suspect and there were some ‘incidents’ with the piping bag we were all very pleased with the results – maybe there will even be some to be shared with friends and family if they’re lucky!
Our next main meeting is on the of 18th April and we will be welcoming a talk about how Rescue Dogs play such an important role in keeping us safe and at times saving lives.
Our meetings are the third Thursday of the month at the Angel Centre on Chapel Street. For more details and to support our Charity Bike Ride to Oxford for Salford Young Carers, please see www.salfordangelswi.co.uk or check us out on Facebook and Twitter.
