Behind the Mic!
Date: Wednesday 17th September 2014
Time: 12 noon for 12.30pm
Venue: Jubilee Suite, Farington Lodge Hotel, Stanifield Lane, Farington, Leyland, PR25 4QR
Cost: £23 includes a 2-course lunch with tea or coffee
The title may intrigue a little, but many will recognise the voice of the person ‘behind the mic’. or microphone as being that of John Clayton, Editor of BBC Radio Lancashire, and a well-regarded public speaker His childhood enthusiasm for the radio led to a most interesting career. We’re looking forward to hearing how his career developed, with a number of well-seasoned amusing anecdotes along the way. This will follow our lunch at the prestigious Farington Lodge Hotel.
