Salford Angels WI have got lots going on this month with something of interest for all ladies. Here’s a small taste of what’s going on…

General meeting – Thursday 20th Sept
Our meeting this month promises to be packed full of fun with a variety of new clubs to discuss, ideas for next years schedule and a Clarins makeover demonstration! The raffle prize is also a Clarins goody bag. We would love to see as many new faces as possible, all ladies welcome! Please join us from 6.30pm for 7pm start at The Angel Centre, Chapel Street. Great opportunity to make new friends, have a cuppa and try our tasty cakes. Please also note all ladies that join at this meeting get 3 extra months free so it’s the perfect time to visit your local WI!

Taste of Salford – Saturday 22nd Sept
The Angels are having their very own stall at this fantastic event which is a great day out for all the family. Taking place on the Civic Centre lawns in Swinton, we will be selling fruit and veg. It would great to see lots of visitors, please come visit us and say hello!

Book & Knit Club
Our book and knit club is proving to be very popular with the ladies! We have undertaken a new project of knitting Christmas decorations and need as many volunteers as possible. If you can help please get in touch! Our readers this month have also chosen The Bone Garden by Tess Gerritse, a book full of mystery and sure to be a page turner!
