A quiz night to remember, or not for any that shared the raffle prize of a bottle of Malibu kindly donated by the New Oxford pub.  Hosted and catered for by the Creation Café at The Angel Centre, the night started off at a leisurely pace with a picture round.  The tensions started to build as the quiz master supremo, Sandra Shelton, started to fire round after round of ever more difficult questions at the 8 brave teams.

We’d hoped that the results of the midway WI raffle draw may help to smooth out the nights frictions, but with prizes ranging from a meal for two at the Mark Addy, a Garden Needs voucher, a delicious WI lemon meringue cake through to a Lean and Green exercise and meal session for the entire team, the temperature in the room really started to hot up.

Bleary eyed (another glass of Malibu madam?) the final scores were added, re-added and added once more.  Congratulations to first prize winners Cupid Stunts and all the runner ups.  We would like to thank all who donated prizes, the 40 individuals that braved the very first WI quiz night and all who helped to make it a great night!
