LFWI – The Arts and Craft Sub-Committee: An Introduction to Bead Netting

April 24, 2015 @ 10:00 am - 3:30 pm

£18.00

Beaded Netting can be used to make a wide variety of handmade jewellery and also to accessorise items around the home.

This class is designed for beginners or those members who are new to this particular technique. Come and enjoy a day learning how to make a simple necklace using the netting technique, before progressing on to the stunning results you can achieve with tubular netting. Some dexterity is required as we will be working with small seed beads. A list of requirements can be obtained by contacting LFWI, but as this class is aimed at beginners or those new to the stitch, a kit containing all the materials can be purchased from Anne on the day for £8. Don’t forget to bring a packed lunch. Tea / coffee and biscuits will be provided.

If you wish to attend this event, please request an application form from your WI secretary, that will need too be returned to us by the closing date of Thursday 2nd April.
