 LFWI COUNTRYSIDE AND ENVIRONMENT COMMITTEE

QUIZ AFTERNOON

 Date:                     Wednesday 3^rd September 2014

Time:                     1.30pm – 4.00pm

Venue:                 Global Renewables, Lancashire Business Park, Leyland (See directions below)

Cost:                      £5.00 per person to include light refreshments

Come and join us for a light-hearted afternoon quiz and in doing so find out how much you know about our beautiful countryside, the weather, wildlife and the environment.  You may surprise yourself!  Our Quiz Master will be, as last year, Judith Scott (LFWI Treasurer)  so you are assured of a fun afternoon.

You do not need to bring along fellow team mates as teams of four will be organised on the day, however if you do wish to bring along a friend, everyone is welcome, but as always priority will be given to WI members.  For further information contact Susan Inglis on 01254 830307.

Directions –   Global’s postcode isn’t recognised by most Sat Nav devices so if driving use PR26 6LZ and then follow one of the following:-

From Farington Road – follow the road past Leyland Paccar Parts to the next mini roundabout and turn right. Follow the road down on the right hand side to the end and turn left into the Education Centre car park.   From Centurion Way – turn right onto Enterprise Drive, and then left at the mini roundabout after Music Box. Follow the road down on the right hand side to the end and turn left into the Education Centre car park.
