Book Club
All ladies are welcome to join the book club for a good read and discussion of the months’ chosen book. We are also planning some special events, such as trips and attending book signings. Longbourn by Jo Baker Synopsis: The below stairs version of Pride and Prejudice. When all the events are happening in the Bennett family at Longbourn, the servants are having their own domestic upheavals.

The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood Synopsis: Set in a dystopic near future when most women can no longer bear children, the handmaids of the story are the 'fortunate' few who are still able to conceive. Kept as virtual slaves in wealthy families, this is the story of one of those women.

Bored of your winter clobber? Your jumper collection getting you down? Why not bring it in and swap it for something else? Swapping clothes is simple - for every item brought in to swap you get a ticket which you can then use to 'buy' something new (well new to you!). Interested?
