Bored of your winter clobber? Your jumper collection getting you down? Why not bring it in and swap it for something else? Swapping clothes is simple - for every item brought in to swap you get a ticket which you can then use to 'buy' something new (well new to you!). Interested? The Salford Angels WI choir has qualified for the regional finals of the choir competition: 'Singing for Joy', a celebration of the centenary of the WI. The regional finals will takr place on Saturday 15th November at Ilkley Winter Gardens, the competition commencing at 10.00am. Choir Practice
Join us for our regular Salford Angels choir practice. We are a fun and energetic choir, covering all sorts of music from traditional and folk, to classic and modern pop. We will soon be preparing for a concert in Lancaster to celebrate 100 years of the Lancashire Federation of Women's Institutes. New members welcome. Please arrive at 6.45pm for a 7.00pm start. Please note that we may be changing venue in February, we will keep you updated.
