Local History Group

WI MEMBERS ONLY Come and joint us for fascinating day learning about Russia. Speakers will talk to us about what life is like in Russia for women today and about the history and culture. We will see traditional Russian costumes, hear Russian music and sample Russian food. WI MEMBERS ONLY The Shows sub-committee are delighted once again to offer members a chance to enjoy a leisurely Preview Dinner. WI MEMBERS ONLY Transport yourself to the warmth, colour and vibrancy of India with Tracy Ankers. On this day we will take a look at Indian textiles and find inspiration amongst the techniques to create something of our own, whether it is a print, a collage, embroidery or simply the development of an idea of your own.
