Hold on to your slice of lemon drizzle cake ladies we’ve got a corker of a year planned.  From the WI Centenary Celebration in September, to a return trip to our friends at Slatterys in June through to a long weekend in Barcelona in October we really have listened to our members to jam fill our light and fluffy swiss roll of an activity plan with fun and frolics this year.

St Thomas’ Church at Pendleton has kindly swung open their beautiful church doors to provide us with a lovely new home for the next 6 months.  We’re all waiting in anticipation for our meeting in February (19th) when we’ll discover the clothes and make-up that best matches are personalities.  I really have no idea if jeans and a t-shirt is an adequate reflection of my Leo attention seeking personality, but we’ll find out soon!

In March (19th) we invite the fabulous gardeners from Ordsall Hall over to inspire us to dig out our wellies and step in to the garden.
