The walk will commence from Downham Village Hall, BB7 4DN.  Coffee will be available

At 10.00am ready for a 10.30am start.   There are toilet facilities available.

Cost: £2.00 per person

The walk is just over 5 miles long and takes walkers through farmers’ fields as far as the moorlands under Pendle Hill.

The walk has stiles (access stiles/kissing gates, though walkers will have an alternative of a gate or slight detour to a gate).  There is one boggy gateway and one rather boggy field depending on recent weather conditions.

All walkers should meet at the Village Hall where there is free parking.  When arriving in Downham from Clitheroe/Chatburn area, go down the brow, through the village, over the bridge, keep left up the hill and the village hall and car park are on brow of hill on the left.
